Amanda R. Lindsay is a PhD candidate in Agricultural and Resource Economics, specializing in Environmental & Natural Resource Economics and Industrial Organization. She earned a BA in Environmental Science from Colby College, and a MESM in Environmental Economics & Policy from the University of California at Santa Barbara.

Her research focuses on evaluating the direct and indirect impacts of marine-based policies on both the economic wellbeing of rural coastal economies and local fisheries. As part of the team for CCRES project, she is building a model that illustrates the connection between Selayar’s economy and local fisheries, and can be used for robust analysis of new marine resource policies.
