El Nido is nestled in a unique, protected landscape

CCRES gets ‘tick of approval’

CCRES has been endorsed by the Protected Areas Management Board which governs the El Nido-Taytay Managed Resource Protected Area, one of 10 priority conservation sites in the Philippines.

The endorsement is a milestone in the implementation of CCRES in the Philippines.

The El Nido-Taytay Managed Resource Protected Area covers over 36,000 hectares of land and 54,000 hectares of marine waters in north-eastern Palawan. It contains towering limestone cliffs, beaches, mangroves, clear waters, unique forests over limestone and neat farmlands. The region is home to a wide range of flora and fauna, many of which are endemic or found nowhere else on earth.
